2006 issue as well as in their Feb. 2008 issue as one of the top pet care
providers in the Washington, DC metro area.

Capital Petsitters, LLC was started in 1993. Our business has grown
significantly over the last 15 years; we now have nearly 60 professional
petsitters caring for over 1,700 clients! In the spring of 2003 Capital
Petsitters was purchased by three of the long-time staff members - Kristi
Shahan, Becca Bowes, and Patricia Britt. Kristi and Becca have since moved
on, but Patricia continues to maintain the same policies, petsitters, and
focus on providing the highest quality pet care.

Patricia worked in management with a legal recruiting firm, an
adult education company and a large entertainment conglomerate
prior to buying Capital Petsitters. "Caring for our clients' pets
is the most fulfilling work I've ever done!" she reveals
enthusiastically.
All of the Capital Petsitters, LLC petsitters are
responsible, mature pet lovers. All have passed
an extensive criminal background check before
beginning to work with us. Many of them have
been with us for years, and all of them have
been through extensive training on our pet
care policies and procedures.
