Mid-Day Dog Walking
Our standard Mid-Day visits provide a 20 or 30-minute exercise and play session with your dog(s) while you are at work. Mid-Day visits occur on a regular basis within a two hour window specified by you.
Vacation Visits
Our Vacation Visits are 20 or 30 minutes long, and we tailor them to your specific needs and those of your pet(s).
This service is for any type of animal. Our main focus is to provide as much love, care, and attention as possible within each visit.
Overnight Service
A very popular service - providing the security of knowing that your home is not vacant while you are away.
In addition to spending the night, we provide evening, late night, breakfast feeding and exercise sessions.

We are happy to provide care for most domesticated pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and most crated pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils and rabbits to name a few). If you have an unusual or exotic pet, please give us a call to see if we can provide the appropriate care.Mid-Day Dog Walking
Vacation Visits
This service is for those who will be away from home for a specific time period. Could be just for the evening or an extended vacation! Vacation visits are tailored to your specific pet care needs. Each visit is approximately 20 or 30 minutes long. We are happy to provide as many visits as needed. Routine vacation visits include the following:
- For dogs: Walking and exercising, yard-play, clean-up, feeding, freshening water, and lots of love and attention!
- For cats: Brushing, stroking, playtime, feeding, freshening water, litter box scooping, and lots of love and attention!
- For crated pets: Cleaning, feeding, freshening water, and any creature-specific tasks!
- Home care: Mail and newspaper retrieval, alternating lights, and watering indoor plants in a centrally located area. Outdoor plant watering or extensive indoor plant watering may incur additional charges.
Overnight House & Pet Sitting
The overnight begins with a dinnertime walk and feeding between 5-7pm. The sitter may or may not stay in your home for the whole evening. It just depends on what they need to do. If they do leave they will return by 10pm and take your dog out for a pee break before bedtime. They will sleep in your home and walk and feed and care for everyone in the morning before they leave between 8-9am. If you need a mid-day visit it would be an additional charge.

Rates
Our objective is to always give you as much value as possible for the fee charged. Our fees are based on many factors such as distance, difficulty of the tasks, number of pets, holiday periods and other circumstances. The prices listed below are a guideline only. Other Important Fees
- Each additional pet: $5/visit
- Key Pick up or Drop off: $22
- Any meeting with a petsitter prior to service: $22
- Medications: Add $5/medication for simple administration; $12/medication for injections and subcutaneous fluids.
- Last Minute fee (less than 24 hours): $10/visit
- Holiday Surcharges: Add $10/day (not per visit) for vacation visits. Add $20 per day for overnight visits.

Join Our Team
Become a member of the Capital Petsitters team! We are always looking for mature and reliable pet lovers to join our team. All potential petsitters should be prepared to meet the following requirements:
- Manage your own schedule
- Have your own vehicle and cell phone
- Be able to provide at least six personal and professional references
- Pass a criminal background check
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Love working with animals!
- Commit to pet sitting for at least 6 months ongoing.
- Be available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 10am and 4pm as well as other hours evenings and weekends.
